PMCPA implementation support sessions | Interactions with health professionals, other relevant decision makers (ORDMs) and health care organisations (HCOs) and Promotion to health professionals and ORDMs

Compliance with the ABPI Code is key to demonstrating to the MHRA, amongst others, that the pharmaceutical industry is committed to self-regulation.

The PMCPA will deliver a series of implementation support sessions aimed at enabling companies to build their understanding and knowledge ahead of the operational date for the new 2021 Code, so that applicable policies and procedures can be updated and staff trained, thus supporting companies in driving robust compliance with the Code.

The Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority (PMCPA) was established by The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry to operate the ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry independently of the ABPI.
