Westminster Flu Day

Westminster Flu Day is organised by the ABPI Vaccines Group in partnership with the Royal College of Nursing and Carers Trust and with the support of the Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England.

Every Autumn, we host a pop-up flu clinic in Parliament and raise awareness of the importance of vaccination to support good health at all stages of life. #WestminsterFluDay is one of the biggest days in our parliamentary calendar and was attended by over 230 MPs and Peers in 2017.

Getting vaccinated helps protect you and those around you from infectious diseases like the flu and if you have a long-term health condition, vaccination could help you stay healthy. That’s why we think it’s important to speak to Parliamentarians about vaccination rates in their local area.

You can check out all the action from last year’s #WestminsterFluDay through our Twitter Moment or by searching for the hashtag.
